Feet First Idaho
As licensed nail techs with 25+ years combined experience, we have cared for many elderly family members, friends and clientele. As individuals age, they face difficulty in performing self-foot care due to poor balance, impaired vision and decreased dexterity. We have witnessed many clients over the years unable to perform routine foot care themselves and feel too embarrassed to reach out for help. Family members have expressed frustration because they don’t know what resources are available and they don’t want to schedule one more doctor’s appointment for their loved ones. Proper regular foot care is essential in helping seniors maintain mobility and be active. It reduces the risk of pain and immobility associated with delayed foot care and promotes a sense of well-being, confidence and independence.
Every journey begins with just a single step
Feet First Idaho employs licensed, certified, professional nail technicians who have obtained additional, specialized training as Certified Master Pedicurists in the care and treatment of ‘routine’ foot problems.
Proper regular foot care is essential in helping maintain mobility.
We realize that as people age, routine foot care is difficult to accomplish on one’s self. We are also aware that many become embarrassed of their feet because of overgrowth, fungus and inconsistent care. Our focus is on the overall health of the foot, toenail, legs and skin. A comprehensive foot, leg, gait and skin evaluation will be performed to address any concerns and foot-care needs within our scope of practice.
